AquaGuard

When the rain falls hard, trust AquaGuard.

Floods cut signals and scatter information at the worst possible moment. AquaGuard connects people in danger with the nearest rescue team — live, in real time.

The problem

In a flood, every minute counts.

A flooded street, a failing signal, and no way to tell anyone where you are.

Phone signals drop and nobody knows where to look

Photos with no timestamps, pins on a map, nothing confirmed.

Rescue teams work with scattered, outdated information

Waiting for a message, not knowing if help is on the way.

Families wait for news with no way to track progress

The solution

One platform for the whole rescue chain.

A rainstorm flood scene where a young man presses an SOS button on his phone and his location is sent via satellite

Emergency SOS

One tap sends your location and your situation.

A rescue team at a live map screen with photos of nearby rescue teams linked to the person asking for help

Smart coordination

A live map assigns the nearest team by urgency.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Do I need to install an app?

No. AquaGuard works in any modern browser at aquaguard.vn — open the page, sign in and you can send an SOS, read the live flood map and check on your family straight away. If you prefer something that lives on your phone, there is also a native iOS app. The web and iOS versions connect to the same live rescue network, so a request sent from one appears instantly for rescue teams and for family members on the other.

Does it work with a weak signal?

Sending an SOS needs a data connection, and in a flood that is often the first thing to fail, so we built a few safety nets around it. AquaGuard includes one-tap registration for emergency 4G data packages from Viettel, Vinaphone and Mobifone, so you can get back online quickly. Direct-dial shortcuts for Police (113), Fire (114) and Ambulance (115) work with an ordinary phone call, and our flood safety guides can be read even when the connection drops. We recommend setting up your account and trying the app before the flood season, not during it.

Is it free for residents?

Yes. AquaGuard is free for residents — creating an account, sending an SOS, following your rescue on the map, using the safety guides and connecting with family members all cost nothing. Our goal is that no one hesitates to ask for help because of a price tag. Organizations that want dedicated onboarding, dashboards or integrations can talk to us about a partnership.

How do rescue teams join?

Rescuers register at aquaguard.vn and choose the Rescuer role. Because this role gives access to everyone’s requests, it is protected by a team access code, which we share with organizations and volunteer groups we work with — use “Partner With Us” below to ask for one. Once inside, you can form or join a rescue team, switch your duty status on when you are available, and receive requests ranked by distance and urgency. Every request is visible to the whole rescue network, so teams can see what has already been accepted and avoid duplicating each other’s work.

How is my location data used and protected?

Your location is used only for rescue: to attach an exact position to your SOS, to guide the nearest available rescuer to you, and to let you watch them approach on a live map. If — and only if — you connect with family members, they can see your safety status and last known position. Access is limited by role, so residents, rescuers and admins each see only what their job requires, and every request needs a signed-in account. Live positions are used for real-time tracking and are not kept as a continuous location history; only the start and end points of a rescue-tracking session are recorded.
